Romantic Trip in Exuma

We just got back from our first trip to Exuma and we are already planning to go back with our family!!!

We stayed at Tropical Tides Good Vibes Exuma Condo and LOVED it!! They provide a SAFE and CLEAN condo with everything you could need for your stay. I’m talking bath product to ice packs for the cooler they provide. I even ask them for a link to the blanket they had on the sofa (and I’m picky) it was perfect for us!!

As for what we did: Thursday we rented our car and went to the grocery. Stocked up on water, fruit, eggs, bacon, sprite, and a couple things to just have on hand.(only spent $150) Spent the afternoon at Jolly – it was our favorite beach. And only a 8 min scenic walk from @tropical tides good vibes.

Ended the day with a later dinner at @salt Resto bar

Friday: full day tour with Go Blue Exuma

We had the BEST guide Harold (Chippy) he let us explore at our pace. We ate lunch at @twin connections floating bar, and visited all the other sticking island stops. @chat n chill, blue hole, peace and plenty etc. the tour was 10-5

We had Yvonne deliver food this day and we were glad we did!! We were tired! The food was AMAZING (60$ for two plates)
Saturday: 1/2 day tour with Exuma Water Sports 007 for the seven beaches. We loved this tour! Beautiful water, a cool sandbar, drinks (alcoholic and non) and cold cookies!! We met some great people and ended up hanging out with them the rest of the trip!

We went to Tropic of Cancer after the tour- Santanas and Moms bakery didn’t disappoint 🍰 (100$ for plate, one beer, one water and 2 rum cakes)

Stopped at allllll the beaches on the way back. Forbes, pretty molly…. It’s worth stopping and Tropic of Cancer DOES have the best piña colada’s on the island! (25$ for the drink with tip)
Stopped at the straw market and picked up shirts. (They’re closed on Sunday)

We made pizza in the condo (bought at the Exuma market) and just relaxed after a long day of beach hopping

Sunday – went to church at St Theresa’s, then to Grand Isle, hoopers bay, cocoa plum and back to our favorite @jolly hall beach and floated the rest of the day.

Monday: went to Sandpiper for breakfast as well as the boutique beside it. Then sadly headed to the airport. Returned the car and checked out Kermit’s.

Tuesday – back to work. Looking into our next visit!
